WORDS OF OUR LADY OF BARRAL TO HER SEER:
«Tell to the shepherds of the mount to pray always the Rosary, that men and women pray the Rosary every day and sing “The Star of the Heaven”. And the mothers who have the children out there, that pray the Rosary too, sing “The Star of the Heaven” and become attached to Me, that I have to go to the world and appease the war»
Mercy My God! Mercy Lord! Mercy asks you this great sinner!
Antiphon:
The Star of Heaven who gave the milk to the Lord, delivered us from the contagion of death that the first father of men brought into the world.
The same Star deigns to appease Heaven, whose wrath punishes the people of cruel death.
Very pious star of the sea, deliver us from the plague.
Listen to us, Lady, and intercede for us, since your Son denies nothing and always honors you.
Save us Jesus, through whom the Virgin, your Mother begs.
Pray for us, Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Prayer:
God of Mercy, God of Piety, God of forgiveness, who pitied the affliction of your people and said to the angel who wounded him: 'Stop your hand', for the love of That Glorious Star, from whose breasts you fed yourself to be Given to us as a remedy against the poison of our sins, give us the help of your grace, so that we may be free from all sudden pestilence and death, and mercifully saved from all perdition. For you Jesus Christ, King of Glory, Savior of the world, who live and reign for ever and ever. Amen"
This prayer was approved by the Archbishop of Braga, Monsignor Manuel Vieira de Matos and has granted 100 days of indulgence for those who recite it with faith and devotion.
